Serving Others: Crusaders Volunteer on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

To honor the life and work of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. this year, Brother Martin students joined students from Dillard University, Loyola University New Orleans, University of New Orleans, and Tulane University in a day of service at City Park. Our students helped beautify a small section of the park near the new Children’s Museum grounds and construction. The students helped spread 25 cubic yards of mulch and plant 300 Agapanthus plants. The students ended the day by praying and reflecting on the life of Martin Luther King, Jr. and discussed the call to be men of service, justice, and compassion.
