On the afternoon of April 25, the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace began to fill with friends, family, and teammates, while five of our senior athletes sat behind their respective university’s baseball caps. Assistant Director of Athletics and Head Football Coach Mark Bonis addressed the crowd and thanked everyone for being there to support these student-athletes. Coach Bonis also congratulated each of the football players for their outstanding accomplishments and displays of leadership throughout the year, on and off the field. In addition, Head Lacrosse Coach Greg Anderson spoke about Jackson Schneider’s lacrosse accomplishments at Brother Martin and wished him all of the best during his college career.
Due to their outstanding performances on the field, each one of these young men will have the opportunity to play at the following institutions:
1. Matthew Alfonso – Football (Nicholls State University)
2. Tanner Olsen – Football (Southeastern Louisiana University)
3. Joshua Orellana – Football (University of Louisiana Lafayette)
4. Jabari Watts – Football (Morehouse College)
5. Jackson Schneider – Lacrosse (Hendrix College)
