Senior Environmental Science students conducted research on native fish of Louisiana with the help of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. The objective was to create stand alone posters using a program called Easel.ly. They were assigned into groups of 3-4, and each group was given specific fish species to research, collect data, and create visuals. Each group was also required to turn in MLA format references for the visuals they created. The seniors then presented their findings to the 7th grade class who were studying proper techniques on giving presentations and collecting data as well as citing sources.
