Members of the Class of 2015 and their families attended the annual Ring Mass at St. Joseph’s Church. Celebrant ordained Brother of the Sacred Heart Louis Couvillon, S.C., encouraged the seniors to develop and share their gifts as leaders of the school. In a special reflection, school president John Devlin urged the students not to “move stones or build walls,” but rather to “construct cathedrals” with their lives. Each student was called by name to receive his class ring, an official symbol of the 145 years of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart in New Orleans as well as the specific student’s role in this long history. Congratulations, seniors, on the start of your special year!
