The second group of seniors, 67 in all, made their overnight retreat this past Sunday and Monday at the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Loranger, LA. The focus of the retreat was “Becoming a Christian Man.” The weather was chilly but sunny and clear for the overnight retreat. The seniors spent time listening to talks, meeting in small groups, spending quiet and reflective time outdoors, and enjoying good meals and each others’ company. The final group of seniors will make their retreat December 7-8.
