The second group of seniors attended their retreat this weekend at the Solomon Episcopal Conference Center in Robert, Louisiana. Using the topic of “Transitioning into Christian Manhood,” retreat leaders created two days of presentations, small group activities, and large group processing to help students identify positive male role models as they grow into Christian manhood. Students shared camaraderie through recreation and meals at the beautiful retreat center, nestled in the piney woods of the north shore. Students also celebrated Mass and had an opportunity to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. Brother Martin strives to provide meaningful spiritual experiences to form young men in a vibrant faith life, and we are thankful for the retreat team and for the students who were open to the formation experience of their senior retreat.
