2018 Alumni Seafood Dinner

IMG_2802On Friday, April 27, the 2018 Seafood Dinner, in the Tom and Gayle Benson Mall, was one of many events hosted by the Brothers of the Sacred Heart Alumni Association. This annual event for alumni is an opportunity to gather for some great seafood, conversation, prizes, school spirit, and much more!

This year, Craig Tafaro ’83 of River Rock Stone Works, the main sponsor of the event, commented that “it was great to see fellow Brother Martin classmates again and other graduates from St. Aloysius and Cor Jesu come together as one.” Other Alumni which included the Alumni Board, Director of Alumni Scott Corrente ’83, Executive Vice President Greg Rando ’77, Director of Development Kenny Spellman ’84, President John Devlin, Principal Ryan Gallagher ’00, and Bro. Dwight Kenney, S.C. ’71 joined everyone in divulging in some hot boiled crawfish by Johnny Randazzo ’96, owner of  Johnny’s Seafood. The fried seafood was prepared and served by Brother Martin Food Services along with the Director of Food Services, Mrs. Tina Labeaud. The Alumni Board was also on hand to help sell raffle tickets for some great prizes. Lucky winners even took home a TV, Brother Martin gear, cash, and more!

In wrapping up the event, Tafaro stated that “it was an honor to sponsor such a great event and I am looking forward to another successful Seafood Dinner next year.” Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors, Class of 1997, and guests for a successful dinner.
