Brother Martin is excited to announce the successful breeding of gargoyle geckos on campus! The raising and breeding of various reptiles and fish species has been an exciting extension of the science curriculum at Brother Martin. Students who are involved in the Brother Martin Aquaculture and Herpetology group (BMAHC) are responsible for the maintenance and care of all living specimens found on campus. Under the guidance of Mr. James Barbara (biology teacher and BMAHC moderator), these crusaders have successfully hatched 3 sets of offspring (6 babies in all) from the gargoyle gecko pair that is housed in a bioactive vivarium in the Meyer Building.
Check back at open house to see the growth of these beautiful babies and the hopeful hatching of even more gargoyle geckos!
