After the conclusion of the Foundation Day Liturgy, 23 new scholarship recipients were recognized. These students were chosen to receive academic scholarships sponsored by the Brother Martin Board of Directors based on their academic achievement. They join over 100 older students who currently benefit from this merit-based program. A reception was held in their honor in the Brother Mark Thornton, S.C., Terrace, where new scholarship recipients were joined by their parents and extended families.
