In order to keep the safety of your sons a top priority and in order to follow the safety guidelines set forth by the Archdiocese of New Orleans, any parent who is either new to Brother Martin and will become a regular volunteer during the school day OR any returning Brother Martin parent who will be volunteering at school during the school day must have a Safe Environment certificate filed in Mr. Rando’s office.
On Wednesday, August 31, 2016, Brother Martin will offer the Safe Environment Training Seminar beginning at 5 p.m. in the Auditorium, immediately prior to Back –to – School Night. This session will fulfill the requirements set forth by the Archdiocese, and you will receive certification that is good for three years at any Catholic School in the Archdiocese of New Orleans. If you are not able to attend this session on Wednesday, August 31,2016, then you should look at the Archdiocesan website for sessions at the local Church parishes.
