Florida State’s Ryan Hoefeld ’13 was recently named to the 2014 All-ACC Academic Football Team announced by ACC Commissioner John Swofford.
Hoefeld, a redshirt freshman center, stepped into the lineup for the Seminoles because of injuries and helped lead FSU to a 4-0 record in his starts, including wins over then-No. 5 Notre Dame and a 21-point comeback victory at Louisville.
To be eligible for consideration for the team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.
