Over the weekend, the Crusader Rugby team played in the 2016 League Championship Tournament at Pan American Stadium winning two games. First, the Crusaders defeated a team from Niceville, FL with a score of 34-12 and 24-15 against Shreveport, LA. Scoring all day for the Crusaders in game one was Brendan Scripter, Marco Alfonso, Sam Carcamo, Jacob Clapp, Logan Neill (with one try each), and Taylor Soileau with four conversions. In game two, Victor Quinonez scored with one try, Nick Gonsoulin and Taylor Soileau with one try and one conversion each.
