On a cold and windy night, The Crusader Rugby team defeated defending state champs Shaw in Gretna for a close win. Scoring for the Crusaders: Jason Watts with 2 tries, Jesse Austin and Jordan Scott with 1 each, and Juan Alvarez kicking 3/4 conversions for a score of 26-24.
Come out to City Park on Saturday to cheer on the ruggers as they host Christian Brothers of Memphis.
