Rugby Looks to Close out Regular Season with a Win Against Jesuit

The Crusader Rugby team improved its record to 10-2 with two big wins this past week. First, Brother Martin defeated Audubon, a multi-school team, by a score of 53-6. On Saturday, March 24th, in a day of rugby at Pan Am Stadium, the Crusaders soundly defeated Episcopal School of Acadiana 89-0. The feature game of the day was New Orleans versus Atanta, wtih several Brother Martin Alums taking the field for New Orleans: Adam Ducoing, Will McSweeney, Cullen Glennon, and Ross Bellaci. New Orleans won, clinching the South title 42-32. Needless to say the ‘Sader Ruggers are clicking on all cylinders presently. They will need this power when they face Jesuit this Thursday at 4:30 pm at the City Park Rugby Field. Come out and support your rugby team for the last game of the regular season against undeated Jesuit.
