The Brother Martin community mourns the loss of Thomas F. Ridgley the 1988 Senator Allen J. Ellender Alumnus of the Year.
No one more than Tom Ridgley ’51 SA, along with his wife Elaine, has been consistently more involved at the heart of the leadership of Brother Martin High School.
Currently, he was serving on the St. Aloysius Century Foundation Board and is a past chairman of the Brother Martin High School Board of Directors. A previous president of the Brother Martin Parents Club, Tom and Elaine were instrumental in the initial organization of the Crusader Fair and the Auction. Tom also started the Brother Martin Golf Tournament.
Tom served on both the Phase I and Phase II Capital Campaign Steering Committees for Brother Martin. The Ridgley Center, The Thomas F. and Elaine P. Ridgley Fine Arts and Athletic Center, is named in his family’s honor.
Services will held in the James B. Branton Chapel on the campus of Brother Martin High School on Monday, June 15th with visitation from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Mass begins at 11 a.m.
