Randy Asprodites SA’ 65 Retires as Crusader Golf Coach; Ron Brisbi ’67 SA Named New Coach

Long time Brother Martin Crusader golf coach, Randy J. Asprodites SA’ 65, is announcing his retirement from coaching and teaching. Randy was a member of Brother Martin’s fine arts faculty for 35 years and served 14 years as head golf coach. Randy’s coaching record includes a state championship in 2004, 5 district championships, and 3 regional championships. “Coaching golf has been one of the real joys in my years at Brother Martin. I am certainly proud of the high level at which my teams competed and I am especially proud of how these young men represented Brother Martin, with honor and class.”

Randy is retiring in order to devote more time to his art career and is considering an opportunity to teach painting part time at a local university. Of course, he also hopes to play a little more golf.

We welcome Ronald A. Brisbi SA’ 67 as our new Crusader golf coach. Ron, a St. Aloysius alumnus, has served as chair for Brother Martin’s annual golf tournament for the last 10 years. “I am excited to have the opportunity to be the varsity golf coach at the premier high school in the state. My goal is to continue the tradition of excellence in golf started at St. Aloysius, Cor Jesu, and Brother Martin.”
