Rummel (7-1, 4-0) defeated the Crusaders (6-2, 2-2) by a score of 59-27 on Saturday, October 24th at Joe Yenni Stadium. The Crusaders won the toss and deferred until the 2nd half, giving Rummel the ball first. Rummel wasted no time scoring a touchdown on their first possession and never looked back. Bruce Jordan-Swilling had his usual big night with 120 total yards and 1 touchdown, all in the first half, as Coach Bonis elected not to play him in the second half with the game out of reach. Quarterback Jake Broggi threw for 265 yards and 2 touchdowns, both to Jeremy Singleton.
The Crusaders next game is Friday, October 30, 2015 at Tad Gormley Stadium against the Shaw Eagles. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the Bookstore for $7 or $8 at the gate. During the game, we will honor seniors of the band, medical support staff and the football team.
