Brother Martin-based Peake BMW (5-0) defeated the Shaw-based Refuel team 6-1 on Friday night with a solid performance from its pitching staff.
The Crusader based team scored five runs in six innings of play, starting off everything in the bottom of the first with an RBI double from Jarret Gongora.
Four different pitchers on the Peake BMW roster had a no-hitter going into the sixth inning before Refuel laid down a bunt single.
The Brother Martin-based Peake BMW team is currently in 1st place in the First District standings with a 5-0 record.
