Yesterday afternoon, after celebrating the life of Mr. Martin Hurley earlier in the day, Student Ministers from Mrs. Rodriguez’s Period 8 religion class represented Brother Martin High School at the funeral procession of Archbishop Hannan. The Brother Martin seniors stood amongst students from Xavier Prep, St. Augustine, and Holy Cross at the corner of Canal St. and S. Jeff Davis Pkwy. The seniors paid their respect to the life and work of Archbishop Hannan as his body was taken by a horse-drawn hearse from Notre Dame Seminary to St. Louis Cathedral.
