Our Formation Center’s Focus

"We believe that the purpose of education is to equip young people with the skills they need to participate fully in and contribute to the reign of God…  In addition to providing students with a curriculum that is valued in the workplace and that opens options for them in higher education, the school should nurture in students the habit of lifelong learning and ground them solidly in traditional Christian values."

 - Educational Mission and Ministry, Brothers of the Sacred Heart

The Brother Martin Formation Center, which provides a host of academic services, is buzzing with activity each school day from 7:15 a.m until 4:00 p.m. On any given day, the center is filled with students getting assistance on their academic assignments or making up homework and/or tests. The one-on-one attention for our students is the greatest benefit provided by the Formation Center.

Teachers and National Honor Society students are available to tutor and monitor academic progress for any students who comes to the Formation Center. Students are taught academic content as well as skills such as organization and study strategies. Whether a student is required to attend the center based on past academic performance or just needs a little extra help with their homework, the Formation Center is a place where our Crusaders can go to meet their potential for academic excellence and seek personal attention.
