Catholic High Tournament

This past weekend, the Mu Alpha Theta Club traveled to Baton Rouge to compete in the Catholic High Mu Alpha Theta Tournament. Although a majority of our students who competed earned awards, it was not enough to climb into the Sweepstakes conversation.

Individual Test

Algebra 2 - Kolbe Willis (5th Place)

Precalculus - Matt Biehl (Honorable Mention), Dylan Rhoton (HM), and Sam Yuratich (HM)

Calculus AB - Landon Groetsch (3rd Place) and Christian Landry (4th Place)

Calculus BC - Josh "Levender" Levandoske (2nd Place)

Brother Martin Tournament

This past Saturday, the Brother Martin Mu Alpha Theta Club hosted a Math Tournament with over 500 students from 26 schools coming to our campus to compete. The following Brother Martin Mathletes placed in Division 1:

Individual Test:

Algebra 1 - 4th Place - Reece Bruchi

Geometry - 4th Place - Josh Peavey

Algebra 2 - Honorable Mentions - Carson Landry, Andrew Cooper, and Myles Monzon

Precalculus - Honorable Mention - Dylan Rhoton

Team Test:

Comp Math 1 - 3rd Place - Team of Isaac Hernandez, Oliver Weinstock, Callan Pearse, and Joshua Peavey

Math Bowl:

Algebra 2 - 1st Place - Team of Jacob Chauffe, Andrew Cooper, Kolbe Willis, and Carson Landry
