Our Great Read for 2024 is Grann's "Killers of the Flower Moon," which sheds light on a historical injustice: the systematic murder of the Osage Native Americans in the 1920s for their oil wealth.
The book will prompt readers to examine the lasting legacy of these events and recon with the injustices committed against the Osage People. Our hope is that reading historical books like "Killers of the Flower Moon" will further our Crusaders' Academic Excellence through thoughtful study, research, and group discussion.
