Noah Bower ’24 Honored with 2020 Joseph McCloskey Schmidt Scholarship

Congratulations to Noah Bower '24 for being honored with the 2020 Joseph McCloskey Schmidt Scholarship through the PLEASE Foundation!
Noah is an Honor Roll student, plays Lacrosse, and is a School Ambassador. He is also a gifted runner who competes through the USA Adaptive Sports Association. He competed at the Endeavor Games in Oklahoma (2018) and Angel Games in California (2019). In CA he broke the National record in the 400m and 800m. Noah placed first in the 1600 and 3500m. At the Adaptive Sports Junior Nationals he held his National record in the 400m and 800m.

Noah is the third Brother Martin student to receive this prestigious scholarship from the PLEASE Foundation and Schmidt family. Previous scholarship recipients include alumnus Cameron Washington '19 and current student Dylan Guagliardo '22.

The Joseph McCloskey Schmidt Scholarship is a 4-year scholarship awarded to exceptional students. Set up to honor the memory of Joseph McCloskey Schmidt, PLEASE Foundation members say Joseph's tender heart, gentle spirit and magnanimous personality will be remembered through all of the scholarship recipient's future accomplishments.
