On Saturday, November 8th, Brother Martin NJROTC Cadets assisted the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF) at the annual Walk for the Cure in Audubon Park. Cadets had fun in the team building experience, but worked hard moving heavy drinks, trash cans, cleaning tables and performing the cleanup of the park after the event. Cadets who attended also enjoyed the free food and music while helping to eradicate a disease which plagues many children. The organizers thanked Brother Martin NJROTC throughout the event while Cadets earned service hours for their selfless volunteer work, learning the true meaning of service before self.
