On Saturday October 6th, cadets from the Brother Martin NJROTC unit participated in the Light the Night Walk at Lafreniere Park. Light the Night is a 2 mile walk to help raise money for cancer research, with different chapters across the United States. Cadets helped set up tents for the event, blew up balloons for all participants, and provided a Color Guard for the National Anthem.
The event this night helped to raise upwards of $300,000 for this cause. Bravo Zulu, cadets, on the first of many service events in the community worked by the NJROTC.
