On October 15th, the NJROTC unit participated in the Light the Night fundraiser for cancer patients and families who have gone through or who are struggling with Leukemia and Lymphoma. The NJROTC cadets helped to set up the event tents and inflated balloons that symbolized different areas of attention for the individuals involved in the benefit walk. Those who were walking in order to support the event were given a red balloon; those who were Leukemia or Lymphoma survivors were given a white balloon; and those who were walking in memory of a loved one were given a gold balloon. The night was filled with enthusiasm in order to raise money to find a cure. Thanks to NJROTC Cadets for helping make the event a great success.
