NJROTC Lets Loose at Military Ball

IMG_6296The Brother Martin NJROTC unit celebrated another successful year in a festive way at their annual Military Ball, held in the Brother Mark Thornton Terrace here on campus on Saturday, April 18th.  Public Affairs Officer Richard Hunter served as the emcee of the evening, announcing the arrival of the Staff Officers. Led by Cadet LCDR Christopher Breath, a sword arch was formed to formally welcome special guests: Commander Nolan, his wife, and daughter and Chief Necaise and his wife, the Color Guard, under the command of Jacob Detiege, and Cadet Seaman Recruit Pearson Pratt parading the company cake. The unit was then introduced to the 2015 Military Ball Court and Miss Caroline Douglas of Dominican High School (queen), and her court, Miss Erin Chopin, Miss Jamie Hanzo, and Miss Victoria Monzon. Finally, the cadets enjoyed food, fun, and a lot of dancing to end the evening. Thanks to all who helped out for this event!
