The NJROTC Orienteering team competed in an Orienteering competition at Warren Central High School in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Orienteering is a sport consisting of a combination of a cross country race and land navigation. The Crusader teams competed in a written test followed by a running course. Cadets Josh Collins ‘19, Chaz McKenzie ‘19, Paul Monaco ‘20, and Connor Richoux ‘20 of Team Two took second place in the ‘Beginner Course’. Team Commander Cadet Noah Goodlett ‘18 along with Cadets Ryan Johnson ‘18, Keelan Didier ‘19 and Zach Gonsoulin ‘20 of Team One took second place in the ‘Advanced Course’. Josh Collins ‘19 was able to take first place in individual score on the ‘Beginner Course’.
