NJROTC Cadets Welcome Veterans in the Soaring Valor Program

Brother Martin NJROTC cadets joined the Gary Sinise Foundation and the Sheraton New Orleans hotel welcoming heroes to our city on Wednesday, August 7. The Soaring Valor program flies World War II veterans here for a week of VIP treatment with the World War II museum. Cadets met the buses with an honor guard salute. After arrival, they assisted the veterans off the bus and inside. The Sheraton hotel greeted the participants to a welcoming line of applause as they entered. Mr. Gary Sinise, actor and founder of the organization, was on hand to escort the group.

"This was amazing," said Cadet Lieutenant Bryce Pellegrin '20. "Being able to be a part of this was a truly memorable experience."
