Ninth Grade Day of Reflection

The entire ninth grade, along with senior student ministers and faculty, spent last Thursday in Bay St. Louis for their class Day of Reflection.  The focus of the day was an important aspect of the charism of the Brothers of the Sacred Heart, fostering a deeper relationship with God through prayer.  Cooper Ray, a youth minister and musician from Baton Rouge, worked with the freshmen to help them see music as a way to pray. Student Ministers, T.J. Nash and Ben Brinson gave talks on bullying. Mr. Gatti and Mr. Corrente talked about their prayer lives and the freshmen spent some quiet, reflective time in the Brothers’ cemetery. Student ministers led small group discussions on prayer.  The day ended with Mass at Our Lady of the Gulf Church.
