The 2025 UCA National Champion Brother Martin Cheer Team was recently featured in an article on the The New Orleans Mom website. Crusader mom Angela Capella wrote this wonderful article that sheds light on what it's like to live in the world of Brother Martin Cheer:

"What It Takes To Become Back to Back National Champs

To delve into the world of Brother Martin cheer, you must start from the beginning…from where it all initiated for these amazing athletes. These young ladies have trained for these moments from the moment they started walking. The lessons, the practices, the training, the showcases, the exposure events, the stunt clinics, and the hours upon hours and days upon days of practicing. For these young men, most of their cheer careers began while enrolled at Brother Martin. As parents, we had no clue what to expect when our son, Camryn, made the commitment to join the Brother Martin cheer team."

"Coach Jessica Fresina called. She went over all the details…. practices, clinics, games, fees, and competition schedules. For new cheer parents it sounded great and honestly, easy.
