On Thursday, May 14th, Brother Martin celebrated its annual Call to Leadership school-wide liturgy. This liturgy challenges the student body to step up into leadership roles throughout our campus filling the void of the graduating senior class of 2015. During the Mass, outgoing Student Body President, Nolan Lambert symbolically handed the student council gavel to Student Body President-elect, rising senior Marvin Hudson. After Mass, a representative from the Anti-Defamation League presented a banner to the school proclaiming that once again, Brother Martin has qualified as being a “No Place for Hate” school.
Joining us at Mass were nearly 300 family members of students who were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society at the conclusion of Mass in a ceremony in the Benson Mall.
