National Geographic Society's 8th Grade Geography Bee

Following competitions in their respective world geography classes, six eighth grade students advanced in this contest sponsored by the National Geographic Society. On January 31, the qualifiers, (pictured Left to Right) Chase Lormand, Trent Jenning, Brendan Gallagher, Princeton Rodrigue, Andrew Triche and Tyler Dupuis, participated in Brother Martin’s final round. Andrew Triche and Brendan Gallagher competed in a head to head challenge to determine a winner. Andrew Triche won the championship medal and earned the right to compete at the next level, and Brendan Gallagher finished as runner-up.
