Faculty members had a full day of professional development to prepare them for next year’s BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) program. They participated in a variety of experiences, from a group “mission possible” challenge to self-chosen breakout sessions on a variety of tech topics, from Google App use to pod casting and close reading using Schoology. Teachers also had independent preparation time for the development of a lesson as well as department meeting time to share their findings and insights with colleagues.
