Crusader graduate Michael Maldonado ‘14, a student at The Catholic University of America (Catholic University), will be assisting with a team of Eucharistic Ministers for the Canonization Mass of Blessed Junípero Serra today during Pope Francis’s visit to Washington, D.C. In an interview with WWL-TV, Maldonado expressed that this is a dream come true for him and that he feels very blessed to be serving the Pope and fellow Catholics in this ministry today.
Maldonado is a former Student Council President and member of the cross country and track teams. Currently, he serves as the Associate Vice President for Catholic Athletes for Christ (CAC) at Catholic University.
