Senior Michael Kirsch ’16 has made a commitment to play baseball at Tulane next year. Last year, Kirsch played shortstop for the Crusaders, helping the team advance to the LHSAA Class 5A state quarterfinals in Sulphur. Other programs interested in Kirsch were McNeese State, Nicholls State, as well as Southern Miss. The offer from Tulane is the first Kirsch received and the opportunity to play in front of his family and friends was too much for him to pass up.
