Brother Martin Senior and Student Council President Marvin Hudson received first place in the LSUHSC Summer Medical Research Program. Hudson spent the summer interning for the LSUHSC Department of Epidemiology. Over the course of the summer, Hudson designed and created a survey which tested the mentors/supervisors and their interns satisfaction with the program. After creating the survey, he collected the data and compiled all of the results using the answers which were most significant for the study. In conclusion, a competition was held with a panel of judges and students from more than 15 high schools in the area, and Hudson was awarded first place for his research.
