Martial Arts Competes in USKA Battle of the South Tournament

On Saturday the Brother Martin Martial Arts Team competed in the USKA Battle of the South Tournament in preparation for the State Tournament.

In the 14-15 division, Matthew Lindner '22 fought to win 2nd place. Following, Andrew Biehl '22 went undefeated to capture 1st place. In the 17 and up division, Campbell Owens '20 won 1st place. Lastly, Team Captain Paul Maestri '20 confidently captured 1st place for the Adult Black Belt Division.

Most of these Crusaders just started learning martial arts with the team last year and have placed in every tournament. The Crusader Martial Arts Club is working to qualify for the National Tournament in March.

The team will begin to accept new members in September. Please email Coach Heller if you are interested.
