Mark Bonis Named Allstate Sugar Bowl’s Coach of the Year

"Brother Martin football coach Mark Bonis has been named the Allstate Sugar Bowl’s, Friday Night Football Coach of the Year.

Bonis led Brother Martin to the Division I semifinals. His team’s unbeaten regular season included victories over Curtis and Rummel.

In the past year, Bonis and his toddler son Marc have both faced serious illness. Bonis said those events deepened his faith."
