Ladies of the Shield Celebrate 10 Years of Support

The Ladies of the Shield celebrated 10 years with a complimentary spring social at the beautiful home of Chad and Danielle Guidry (Alex ‘18) on Saturday afternoon. More than 125 Ladies of the Shield members, Senior Moms, and New Crusader Moms enjoyed lots of delicious food, prepared by Raymond Yakelis ‘06, along with a ‘specialty’ Crusader cocktail. Cissy Yakelis, Receptionist and Lady of the Shield Charter member, welcomed all of the guests, along with Principal Greg Rando ‘77 and Assistant Principals Carlos Bogran ‘99 and Gabrielle Macaluso.

The Ladies of the Shield have been involved in and have supported many events during the past 10 years, and together have fully endowed a scholarship that will continue to benefit families in need for many years to come! Thank you to these Crusader wives and moms for their generosity and for always ‘giving back’!
