Brother Martin High School’s Ladies of the Shield Annual Spring Social was held on Saturday, April 23 at the home of Karen and Chuck Stall ’76 (Chuck ’02 and Will ’07) in Old Metairie.
The Ladies of the Shield, along with Brother Martin’s President Greg Rando ’77 and Brother Martin Partner in Mission and Ladies of the Shield Director Cissy Yakelis, welcomed mothers of incoming Crusaders and offered their congratulations to mothers of current senior Crusaders for their roles within the Brother Martin family.
Mrs. Karen Stall also spoke about her time as a Crusader Mom and how she made lifelong connections while her sons attended Brother Martin. She encouraged the mothers of incoming Crusaders to become involved and get to know one another.
Brother Martin High School is blessed to have these wonderful women in our family and would like to thank all our volunteers, Partners in Mission, and those who attended this event.
If you know of a prospective member with a love for Brother Martin who would be interested in joining the Ladies of the Shield, please share our information, contact us at (504) 284-6700, or visit https://www.brothermartin.com/giving/ladies-of-the-shield.
Ladies of the Shield was formed in 2006 with the intention of establishing scholarships in honor of our sons and/or husbands who are graduates of St. Aloysius, Cor Jesu, or Brother Martin High School. The Ladies of the Shield also supports Brother Martin High School and the Brothers of the Sacred Heart and their Partners in Mission through continued involvement in the Brother Martin community.
