Congratulations to the Crusader Lacrosse Teams for tremendous wins this weekend at the Battle-By-The-Beach Tournament in Gautier, Mississippi. In the JV Division the Crusaders defeated the Destin Rockets by a score of 7-6 to win the JV Division; and the Varsity defeated Lower Alabama by a score of 7-2 to win the Varsity Division. The Crusader U15 Team also won 2 out of there 3 games on Sunday. Sunday’s overall tournament games had the Crusader Teams of U15, JV, and Varsity winning 8 out of 9 total games. Congratulations to Chase Edwards for the Brave-Heart Game winning goal against Dutchtown in OT which advanced the Varsity Squad to the championship. A great overall effort against tough competition by Crusaders Lacrosse helped make a successful weekend.
