Over the weekend, the Crusader Lacrosse Team beat the Mandeville Skippers on the road in Mandeville. Varsity won by a score of 22-7, and the Crusader JV Team also shut out the Skippers 14-0. Leading the way for the Crusader Varsity in scoring was Edwin Pigeon with 6 Goals and Dylan Mattio with 4 Assists. The Varsity put up a total of 12 Assists and Shot 67.4% for the match with 14 different players contributing to goals scored.
Then, the Crusader Lacrosse members shut out the St. Martin’s Saints on Monday night via a score of 15-0. Edwin Pigeon lead the Crusaders with 7 Goals and 2 Assists; followed by Paul Barranco with 3 Goals and 1 Assist.
Next up for Crusaders Lacrosse is the St. Paul Wolves on Wednesday night at Muss Bertolino Park in Kenner.
