Our varsity lacrosse team matched up against St. Thomas More on Friday, March 19. Our defense was able to scoop up 26 ground balls compared to STM's 19 while also forcing 7 turnovers throughout the game. Penalties, failed clears, and unforced turnovers created a gap large enough for STM to hold off our Crusaders. The final score was 4 - 8 with 2 goals coming from senior Mark Delahoussaye (#34), and 1 goal a piece from senior Collin Blackwell (#14), and sophomore Cole Scott (#15) with assists coming from senior Ethan Jeanes (#51), and junior Matthew Olivio (#22). Our defense was led by senior Chandler Bonvillain (#10) with 4 ground balls and junior Patrick Delger (#27) collecting 3 ground balls and forcing 3 turnovers. Our next game will be this Saturday, March 27 at LaSalle Park on Airline Drive at 3:30 PM. Come out and support your Crusader Lacrosse!
