The Brother Martin community gathered in the Robert Conlin Gymnasium to celebrate the All Saints Day Liturgy. Mr. Greg Rando ’77 shared his personal patron saint story and explained the symbolism of the liturgical decor. Then Michael Kimble ’81 and the 2013 Alumnus of the Year, along with senior drummers Scott Frischhertz and James Nail, played the bagpipe for the opening processional. Ordained Brother of the Sacred Heart Louis Couvillon explored the relationship between our lives and the lives of the saints, known and unknown, who watch over us from Heaven. At the conclusion of Mass, Ladies of the Shield members Cissy Yakelis and Julia Gandolfi presented Tommy Mitchell ’79, Development Director, a check for $60,000, money raised for an endowed scholarship.
