Key Club Visits with St. Michael Special School

Members of the Brother Martin Key Club recently traveled to St. Michael Special School with all of the Mardi Gras beads that our student body had collected. The beads were donated to St. Michael Special School’s Joy Center. After unloading the beads, the Crusaders paired up with 22 students from St. Michael to build model airplanes.

After they built the model airplanes, they flew them all together in the gym through multiple obstacles. Along with the obstacles, the students competed to see whose plane would fly the longest distance. When the competition was over, everyone enjoyed a snack. Our Key Club is looking forward to their next visit this spring with St. Michael Special School!
