Brother Martin's Key Club teamed up with St. Michael Special School for some basketball fun on the court. Key Club members welcomed St. Michael students onto campus and brought them into the Conlin Gymnasium to get some Basketball tips and tricks from our Crusader Varsity Basketball team and coaches. Coach Chris Biehl and Coach Joey Barnitz '02 went over some drills and paired up their team with St. Michael students and Key Club members.

"Last time we were visiting St. Michael, the students were asking when they would get the opportunity to play basketball with us at our school, so you could imagine the excitement that was in the air. These students showed up ready to play, and they did not disappoint. We are blessed with the friendships that have been formed with our friends at St. Michaels, and now we have to patiently wait until next quarter to see them again," said Francisco Gonzalez '13, Key Club Moderator.

After the basketball drills were done, St. Michael students, Key Club members and basketball met in the Benson Mall for pizza. Special thanks to all of the club moderators and coaches involved to plan a great afternoon for our St. Michael and Crusader buddies!

"Spending time with the Students of St. Michaels are times that I wouldn't trade for the world. They are great people who are awesome to hang out with and some of them can shoot three-pointers better than most. Being able to hang out with them always is a blessing for us and for them," said Brad Corcoran '20.
