Congratulations to junior Ben Zahn on his award winning essay, A Man, which was selected as the runner-up in the 11th-12th grade category of The Big Read Student Essay Contest sponsored by Xavier University in conjunction with The National Endowment for the Arts. Ben’s essay was displayed and he was honored, along with the other essay winners, at the closing celebration of The Big Read on Saturday in the auditorium of the Main Branch of the New Orleans Public Library.
