On Sunday, April 26th, the Department of Spanish and Portuguese at Tulane University hosted a ceremony recognizing Cervantes Day held at the Academy of Sacred Heart. At the ceremony was the presentation of the José Luis Baños Award given to an individual for excellence in the Spanish language. Junior Daniel Seiler was the Brother Martin recipient. He is pictured (right) with Mr. Aaron Reller (left) who is part of the World Languages department and moderator of the World Culture Club.
