The Junior High Wrestling Team won the 25 team state championship competition held this past weekend in Baton Rouge. The Crusaders scored 204 points and easily outdistanced North Louisiana Wrestling Club who finished in 2nd place with 113 points. 16 Junior High wrestlers placed in the top 4 with Kyle Dunn and Pierce Williams taking home individual state titles. Pierce was named the tournament’s most outstanding wrestler. Finishing as state runner-ups were Anthony Brindisi, Cole Alfonso and Jacob Clapp. Third place finishers were Harrison Donnell, Taylor Gambill, Gavin Wright, Devyn Manasco and Travis Viener. 4th place finishers were Garrett Cooper, Paul Stephen Schmidt, Ray Walters, Seth Gambill, Andre Walker and Joseph Sweeney.

The Junior Varsity wrestling team completely dominated the JV District Wrestling Tournament by winning 10 of the 11 weight classes.
Winning individual District titles were: Mason Mauro, JP Kidder, David Drago, Wade Nash, Mason Williams, Jordan Wright, Jordan Giroir, Anthony Quijano, Jordan Soileau and Josh Tapia. Other finalist were Anthony Schneider, Tyler Thompson, and Daniel Evans.
